Urdd Gala 13/11/19

Wow! What a ffantasteg day at the Urdd swimming gala. I am so incredibly proud of our Tîm Nofio (swimming team). Each and everyone of the children gave their best and swam like the wind!

Some children were extremely nervous but the support and encouragement from other members of the team gave them courage to ‘have a go’. Their smiles as they completed the competition and climbed out of the pool showed how much they enjoyed the challenge and how very pleased they were with their achievement. 

An official at the gala complimented our team spirit and noted their true grit and determination. He also commented on how wonderful it was to see so many swimmers to attend the gala especially since we are small school. 

The day was full of fun and it was, as ever, an absolute pleasure to be part of Tîm Ysgol Sant Ioan
